Brandt Buikema

My journey into the creative world started back in 2015 when my family and I moved to England. That’s where I picked up my first camera and started filming our travels. This began as documentation but quickly became a passion for storytelling through visuals. After moving back to the U.S, I began capturing local sports teams and events, combining my passion for sports with my growing interest in video. This led me to pursue a degree at Michigan State University where I worked as a student creative, part of a team creating professional, on-brand content, which only continued to sharpen my skills as a creative.

Today, I’m a freelance videographer, editor, and certified FAA Part 107 drone pilot, creating both short and long-form content for popular athletes, brands, and small businesses. My style leans into bringing a cinematic approach to all types of content, with a strong focus on detail in the post-production process. While sports is my main focus, I love shooting just about anything and bring a strong creative eye to every project I take!
